Astronomers Without Borders president Mike Simmons was a featured guest on the January episode of The Cosmic Ray Show, and Mike’s interview—which was streamed live on January 23—is now available for your viewing on YouTube.
Ray Sanders, an astronomer and educator who hosts the monthly web-based show, queried Mike at length about how AWB brings astronomy to life for people who often have little or no science literacy, and helps nurture a community of stargazers across the world regardless of people’s nationality.
“What we’re doing,” Mike said, “is building a bridge up through the sky. We’re meeting up there.”
