Students and Parents at Pernera Preschool in Nicosia are invited to a magical evening full of wonder and fun lead by Katie Demetriou, parent of child at this school and member of Astronomers Without Borders. We will also be honoured by the presence of the National Coordinator of AWB, Mr George Troullias.
Programme begins at 18.15 and will end at 20:00
1)Introduction to Astronomy and AWB: Katie Demetriou and students of the English School Astronomy Club
2) Presentation "Andreas and the Moon"- Delivered by Mr George Troullias, Kition Planetarium and Observatory, AWB NC
3)Lunar Observations through telescopes- led by students of the English School, Nicosia
4)AstroArts
Sandwiches and drinks for the children will be kindly provided by Pernera Preschool Parents Association.
