Evening Observation

Students of Jiva Public School attended evening observation at their school. Here they learned about the Moon and its phases. They also learned about the various lunar features and craters through crater making activity. The students also learned about the planets of the solar system that are visible with the naked eye. The students were introduced to a sky simulation software called stellarium. The kids also learned how to align telescopes to observe celestial bodies, and learned about the various kinds of telescopes.
