International Dark Sky Week (April 1 - 7)

Dark Skies Awareness

Overnight Session for Astronomy club members of Amity International School, Sector 1, Vasundhara where kids spend a whole night under the blanket of stars and learn about constellations and asterisms. They hunt down their own zodiacs using the planisphere and calculate the rising time of the planets. They observe some amazing deep sky objects like Owls Nebula, Whirlpool galaxy, Beehive cluster and M13. They also click some nice astrophotographs and align telescopes to some great celestial objects.
