Students of the Mayoor School, Noida participated in a workshop where they learned the importance of light for astronomy. They also learned and tested the laws of physics related to light like reflection, refraction, dispersion and total internal reflection through hands on experimentation. Students also learned about lenses and mirrors. The students also used telescopes and devised their own microscopes using a simple cylindrical tube and two convex lenses.
