OpenSpace: Making Astronomy Accessible for Everyone
Tune in : APRIL 18, 2019, 15:00 UTC Join us on our Facebook Live to learn innovative ways to make astronomy accessible for everyone! We will share a variety of resources, suggestions, and ideas to promote inclusion for people with disabilities in astronomy. From 3D-printed galaxies for blind users to simple outreach considerations anyone can implement, tune in to explore the world of astronomy accessibility. The webcast will be hosted by Anna Voelker, Director of the SciAccess Conference and will feature special guest Tia Bertz, an undergraduate student working with the IDATA project.

Take a Walk on the Moon!
We are very excited to be partnering with The Virtual Telescope Project to share this exciting online observing event - Walking on the Moon . STAY TUNED - POSTPONED DUE TO CLOUDS. Join Gianluca Masi of the Virtual Telescope project and Astro-Artist Bettina Forget as they present a tour of the various craters on our closest neighbor, the Moon. Bettina will be conducting a Sketching the Moon workshop on 28 April, 2019 at 15:00 UTC as a follow-up to this very special program.
