Gunstar Team ''Transito'' Report
An event in which we at Gunstar Team once again give priority to schools on the outskirts of our dear neighboring city Aparecida de Goiania. With Alpha team IGTAC-Gunstarteam in addition to the mercury traffic we also took advantage of the International Campaign for Astronomy Day IAU100 in Schools. , with a super Meteorite Exhibition, with music and culture, students will have a day of practical Ludicas and Didactic experiences besides observing the mercury traffic, taking advantage of the campaign for the 100 years we embrace this project becoming an official program of the Gunstar Team School Astronomy Day to... Goiania 86th Spacial Birthday .
The most likely origin of the name Goyanna (currently Goiana) is that Goyanna comes from the Tupi-Guarani word "Guyanna", which means "land of many waters". The town's toponym appears for the first time in the catalogs of the Society of Jesus in 1592 under the name of village of "Gueena". The same document, in 1606, records it with the spelling changed to "Goyana" and finally Goiana. Some scholars say that Goiana is the source word for the Tupi language and means: esteemed people. On the moon Again Final Report.
With the festivities of 50 years of the Apollo missions foreshadowing the mission Arthemis we can conclude that our participation was passionate, dynamic, and of course a success. Our target audience estimate was 500 people number that was surpassed on the first day of the Event. Sun and Moon long kiss eclipse.
In Goiania the solar eclipse reaches 31% at sunset in its maximum length. In an afternoon of Astronomy and Friendship celebrating the opening of the Astronomy Festival of the State of Goias the Festival of Shine our organization took adapted binoculars with Astronomical sunscreen, telescopes and sunglasses. The adapted binoculars favored the observation of the Eclipse in a pleasant and comfortable way besides the magnification of the sun in 20x50. Gunstar team of Senador Canedo, Sede, and old Goias together for several points of the beautiful Goias Velho, registering the sky and its points of Low light pollution . Telescopio Itinerante do Fogaréu it was a success
a memorable night of Astronomy culture and faith marked the Wednesday night in the good village (old goias). Thousands of tourists and natives have gathered in the square of the bandstand for the great festival that stages the last parts of the history of Jesus his persecution and death. Global Star Party Steps 2019 - Spirit of Apollo it was a success
On April 13th , CCBEU - Goiania in partnership with Astronomers Without Borders and GunStar Astronomy Observation Team, hosted The Global Star Party Steps, 8th edition.
