Everybody knows about the drastic changes that took place in Tunisia during the last months of this year and especially at the political and security level. However, with the strong will of amateur astronomers, members of Astronomy and Space Club Sidi Bourouis worked hard on organizing a scientific activity that is worth being part of activities related to “International Astronomy Month”. Tunis 15 mars 2011 Astronomy under the authoritarian political regime of Ben Ali was a very domain.Customs officers deprived us from obtaining a telescope or even the binocular. (except for associations with difficulties as well).
