The Astronomical Association of Vigo (Astrovigo) was founded in 2006 with the spirit of fomenting and spread the interest for the Science and the Astronomy among the Galician population.  

Another match of Astrovigo was the construction and running of an astronomical observatory in Forcarei, Galicia,  through the Foundation "Ceo", of which is partner.

To reach our target we work in several areas: chats and conferences, astronomical observations in  places where the light contamination allows it to us, and to visit other centers, etc.. Most of our activities are open to the public and to students' groups, also in schools, institutes or University.  

The Forcarei observatory is an open place for practical activities and for astronomy projects in collaboration with scientific centers or other associations.
