The Virtual Telescope is very active in both research and science communication.

The Virtual Telescope is a pioneer in broadcasting live observing sessions and conferences, experimenting with the most modern technologies available.

It is currently used both by researchers and hobby astronomers, but also by people with no astronomical experience at all, thanks to our professional staff, skilled in science communication. We are working hard to offer online, live observing sessions and we are proud to partner with AWB!

The Virtual Telescope is a no-profit project: for some advanced services we ask for a small fee to contribute to the maintenance of the system and its cutting-edges technologies.
