Kern County Astronomy Day on April 17, 2010 at Foothill High School from 2 to 10 PM. FREE afternoon workshops about motions of the heavens, observing the Sun (safely!), scale model of the solar system, choosing a telescope, deep sky objects, astronomy on the web, and our Galaxy. Prizes given away at 7:15 PM. FREE evening star gazing at Foothill High School from 8 to 10 PM.
