The moon will seem close enough to touch during The Virtual Telescope Project's remote, online lunar observing session. As part of the tour, we'll explore the Moon's feminine side. Italian astrophysicist Gianluca Masi and Canadian artist Bettina Forget will take us on a special tour of lunar features named for women. Bettina will be conducting a Sketching the Moon workshop on April 29th as a follow-up to this very special program. We are excited to be conducting our BIG (Big Impact Giving) micro-crowdfunding campaign to raise $577 to provide five telescopes for an astronomy camp in Nigeria just for girls.
