The 10th Global Astronomy Month has begun and we hope you are enjoying the activities so far.

To kick us off, Astronomers Without Borders founder Mike Simmons presented a live video on Facebook sharing his reflections on 10 years of Global Astronomy Month. If you missed it live, you can watch it again here.

Our two contests have also opened for entries:  AstroArts and AstroPoetry

So get creating!  Entries close the 30th of April.

In the first week, we also have a range of Dark Skies Awareness programs including  Globe at Night and Adopt-A-Street. We also have International Dark Skies Week which runs from 31 March to 7 April.  This is just the first week!

There are so many exciting activities coming up over the next month. We have a few highlights below and you can check out the  Program Schedule and Event List  to see what else is coming up!
