A quick review on Global Astronomy Month (GAM) in Pasargad region, Iran Part I: Introduction As much as people would be involved in participating, organizing, sharing and enjoying the night sky together they would feel closer to each other, meanwhile, closer to the lost part of nature above. Introduction Global Astronomy Month (GAM) provides again new chances for all people around the world to observe night sky and enjoy observing the heavens above. It opens new windows of opportunity for amateur astronomers, teachers, astro-photographers and even astrophysics and astronauts to share their knowledge and experiences with public and new generations. Once again we celebrated the world's largest global celebration of astronomy in Saadat-shahr through Global Astronomy Month 2015. Several education & observation programs were conducted by Astronomical Society of Pasargad Sky (ASPS) for Iranian and Afghan refugee students, families and other citizens, young and old, men and women, in schools, popular streets, parks, and even in world heritage site of Pasargad. Once again, “ Global Astronomy Month ” project gathered all advocates of Astronomy and Peace together around the world to highlight the motto of “ Astronomers Without Borders ”, One People_One Sky , through the largest global celebration of astronomy. “ Engineers Without Borders Iran ” has honored to participate in this celebration by organizing variety programs around GAM Program Schedules offered by AWB such as Dark-sky Awareness, Public Outreach, Observing Events, SunDay Workshop, etc. during April 2014. Sa’adat Shahr is the capital of Pasargad County, located close to Pasargad World Heritage, Fars Province, Iran . Many wedding ceremonies end with star party and telescopic observation in Sa’adat Shahr. Some taxis, doctors, and bakeries are free during the astronomy week ; we have weekly sky report after the Friday's prayers in the main mosque. After GAM2012 and holding some educational astronomy programs at rural regions of Iran, as Executive Director at “Astronomical Society of Pasargad Sky”, I decided to invite other students and people of my community to be a part of motto of AWB “One People, One Sky” So I tried to establish “Engineers Without Borders-Iran” to promote Peace, Educational Justice, Humanity and Environmental Awareness. Saadat-shahr , near to Pasargadae World Heritage , is known as Astronomy Town in Iran because of a great passion to astronomy and skygazing among locals. Sizdah Be-dar (also frequently stylized as "13 Bedar")is the name of a ceremony in Persian Culture.Sizdah is the Persian term for thirteen. Leaving the house on the Thirteenth Day of Farvardin (the first month of Iranian calendar), and joyfully spending the day outdoors have been a national tradition since ancient times in Iran.
