The Rhodes University Astronomy Society (AstroSoc) prides itself on keeping up to date with current astronomical events. We host weekly lectures that are given by the committee members or guest lecturers, afterwards we go star gazing using our 1880's, 10", Newtonian, Equitorial-mount telescope.
