Dubai Astronomy Group (DAG) was founded in the year 2000 to encourage and promote the activities and study of astronomy and its related fields in the Middle East region.  With over 2000 subscriptions, DAG gathers members from all walks of life who enjoy the beauty and the mystery of the cosmos. The monthly observing sessions provide an excellent way to socialize and meet new people.DAG supports its members in the development of their personal education, knowledge and professional skills. The group actively encourages new talents with passion for astronomy and its related fields. DAG activities could also inspire and lead many to careers in science (astronomy, engineering, chemistry, physics and all related sciences ).
