CEAAL is a non-profit association of amateur astronomers aimed to develop Astronomy activities related to teaching, research and public outreach.
Founded in 1989, we are the pioneer group of Astronomy in our State of Alagoas, Brazil.
During the events of the International Year of Astronomy 2009, we were awarded for our participation in the 100 Hours of Astronomy and Galilean Nights projects, receiving one of the 100 HA awards and two of the Galilean Nighs awards.
