Astronomy is for everyone. Unfortunately, there are far fewer women working in astronomy than men. To encourage women to consider careers in astronomy, Astronomers Without Borders is promoting a series of programs featuring women in astronomy. The programs should be of interest anyone interested in astronomy, but because they are presented by women astronomers we hope they will help girls and young women see themselves as future astronomers, too. March 21 - April 25, 2015 Astronomers Without Borders and the IASC are sponsoring a special asteroid search campaign as part of Global Astronomy Month (GAM2015) in April. Fifteen schools from around the world will be selected to participate in this campaign, which takes place from 21 March to 25 April, 2015. Applications are now closed This year's campaign was very successful with 14 schools from 10 different counrties jointly making 80 observations, 8 discoveries and 6 confirmations.
