Astronomy Day of Thaqib Astronomical Association
Global Astronomy month in Melat Park, Rasht, Iran Many amateur astronomers, all over the world get to gather to share the joy and beauty of watching the night sky with people. Thaqib Astronomical Association held Astronomy Festival 29 th and 30 th of April 2015. Many organizations such as ; Rasht Islamic City Council, Rasht Municipality, Rasht Athletic Culture Organization, Astronomers Without Borders, UNAWE and also a large number of amateur astronomers activity participated in that Festival. Beauty of the southern hemisphere

Global Star Party in Bisceglie (Apulia, Italy) 25/04/15

ROYAAI enjoyed very yesterday, Friday, 11.17.2015 Workshop astronomical give to employees of the Libyan scouts in Tripoli, the workshop was part of the beginning of the Spring Festival, organized by the Libyan Scouts. 3 lectures delivered from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm, and the total number who attended the workshop is 56 people. The program was held at Kampus 4 Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia in collaboration with Kelompok Studi ANDROMEDA, Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika (Physics Education Students Organization), Himpunan Mahasiswa Magister Pendidikan Fisika (Postgraduate Physics Education Students Organization), Laboratorium Teknologi Pembelajaran Sains (Science Learning Technology Laboratory). Raoul LannoyHello, On sunday april 12, I mailed friends froml 4 different astronomy clubs in Wallonia and Brussels to observe the Sun from a parking place in Gembloux (that way, no need for authorization, room enough and well located. It lasted from 13:30 till 16:15 (I got a sunburn) and we had 2 PSTs and one telescope with a fillter. I managed to have people from those 4 clubs (and their children) who often diddn't know each other (Astrovega, Astronamur, CAO and Latitude 5050). In corporation with Alawael private school in Libyan city “Derna”, where Roaya member “Attia Alhossadi” led a workshop with fourth grade students, included a model of the solar system and a visual presentation about it, regarding its constituents & how planets orbit around the sun, the kids asked many questions about the cosmos, the solar system and the way astronauts live during space missions. Planetario Sky-Skan: first show
Yes, I did it! After so many months, I have finally held my own show at the Planetarium in Bari. I did two shows in the weekend. On Saturday I was really nervous as it was my first time, but fortunately everything went good. On Sunday the Planetarium was full of people! I was so excited but also selfconfident. This time I was more relaxed and comfortable. I gave my best. My task was to introduce the night sky talking about sunset, light pollution, the Milky Way, costellations, Polaris and Earth from space. Public Star Party on 11/12th April, 2015
Introduction: As a part of Global Astronomy Month, 2015, Akashmitra organized a public star party at Pirangut (25 km from the city of Pune) on 11 th /12 th April, 2015. Raoul LannoyOn march 20th, I went to a village called Grand-Leez near Gembloux and animated the event in a school with several other members of the club. We had no luck with the weather but had many children visiting the classroom where we had 2 screens showing the live event on internet from the Faroe Islands.
