Shots of the last Supermoon of the year: SUPER FLOWER MOON

A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that nearly coincides with perigee - the closest that the Moon comes to Earth in its elliptic orbit - resulting in a slightly larger than usual apparent size of the lunar disk as viewed from Earth. Venus and the Pleiads

During this pandemic period, I set-up a serie of videos and propose some observations. The Venus passage near the Pleiades makes a good opportunity, so I ask friends to make photos or sketch of this rare conjunction. STEMi Makers Africa hosts the Global Astronomy Month for 2020.

The STEMi Makers Africa hosted the world's largest celebration of Astronomy through a series of online webcast events from the 23rd of April to the 25th of April 2020. Our Night Doesn't Need So Much Light: A Baby-Step on Social Media

Recently, my friends and I (a team of three, also includes an astrophotographer) created a page named “Our Night Doesn't Need So Much Light” on Facebook, as a mean to share awareness of light pollution, occurring in Kuala Lumpur (or abbreviated as ‘KL'). We are in line with the mission to search for suitable stargazing spots in this bright city.
