" 1-minute Astronomy " series (「天文一分鐘」短片) aims to promote Popular Scienceby sharing astrophotography and basis of Astronomy. As the Producer and Host of the channel, I hope to share this knowledge in a funny way. “The Universe. Yours to discover” is a collaborative astrophotography exhibition featuring superb astrophotography works by ten of Western Australia's talented astrophotography community, including Carol Redford, James Athanasou, Mark Bridger, Paul Sartory, William Vrbasso, Dr John Goldsmith, Brendan Mitchell, Trevor Lundstrom, Colin Jenkinson and Brett Turner. The exhibition was the first Australian registered Global Astronomy Month initiative for 2019. The Peace Centre in Bethlehem hosted on the 4 th of May, the first Astrophotography Exhibition in Palestine which continued until the evening of May 5 th . Many months ago, our only scope suffered some damage that was beyond any reapire. We felt that our efforts to educate the public in astronomy had come to an end. We lost all hope as it was, and still is, almost impossible to get a new scope! But thanks to Astromomers Without Borders sincere efforts and care, an excellent scope was donated to us through Expolore Scientific. Global Star Party Natwest Mango County, Thiruvallur, India Around 100 young astronomers and teachers from DAV Public School, Velachery, Chennai went with us to a dark site 150 km from Chennai city, away from city light pollution, with a +5.5 Limiting Magnitude sky to enjoy the dark night sky and its jewels. GAM in the Philippines is generally celebrated by various astronomy organizations through public astronomy outreach events. The celebration began with the International Dark-Sky Week from March 31-April 7. An infographic campaign was launched by the Guild for Astronomy Innovation and Advancement – Open Research and Collaborative Learning Experience (GAIA-ORACLE). Each infographic was designed as a 4-panel Facebook image discussing a particular aspect of dark sky preservation. The Astronomia Club Plêiades do Sul has a project called "Astronomy in the Homes", which deals with visits to our members' homes in order to strengthen social bonds, bring people closer together and promote a spirit of fraternity that is so characteristic of legacy of astronomy. On Monday, January 21, 2018, the Plêiades do Sul Astronomy Club held a joint observatory with the Juan Bernardino Planetarium of the Federal University of Goiás, open observation to the public and to the entire community, the penumbral lunar eclipse in Goiânia, capital of Goiás, Brazil. Colegio Razão in the figure of professor Daniel Vinhal together with the largest and most traditional Astronomical Organization of the State of Goias, the Gunstar Team institute stayed for a week waiting for the weather to allow us a daytime observation. I got an invitation to "Thaqib Astronomy Association" and had the pleasure to meet this very active astronomy group in Rasht. Rasht is the center of Guilan province in the north of Iran, the southern of Caspian sea. The Association's building is situated in Mellat Park. It's a well equipped astronomycenter for teaching astronomy. Mrs. Javid is the founder and the head of this Association.
