Pouria Nazemi is a science journalist in Tehran, Iran. He has been senior a science editor at the daily newspaper Jam-e since 2004 and is editor-in-chief of SIB, a science weekly. He has written extensively for science web sites and magazine in Iran, particularly for Nojum (Astronomy) Magazine. He has appeared on science and astronomy programs on both television and radio and has interviewed many world-renowned astronomers and other scientists. He has been a member of the board of the Astronomical Society of Iran's Amateur Committee since 2005 and has served as director of the annual national Iran Sufi observing competition. He is also an astronomy educator and taught at Zafaranie Observatory in Tehran from 2002 to 2006.
